Zinc Definition

Zinc is a micromineral needed in the diet on a daily basis in very small amounts. Zinc is essential to human and animal growth.
 

Benefits of Zinc

Zinc is widely known for its ability to prevent cold and treat cold.
This is since it has the ability to strengthen the immune system (even in cases of AIDS patients) and improve the white blood cell count.

Deficiency of Zinc

Zinc deficiency can result in Lack of appetite, frequent colds and infections, growth failure in children, Impaired sense of taste or smell and Depression. As there is a link between zinc and the taste-related protein called gustin, zinc deficiency may result in symptoms of impaired sense of taste and / or smell.
 

Excess of Zinc
