Vitamin D is a fat soluble vitamin which is essential for the bones and teeth strength and structure, since it helps the body to absorb calcium.
 

Sources of Vitamin D

The sun is the best source of vitamin D, the body created vitamin D with the help of the UV rays.
Other food sources of vitamin D are: milk, salmon, tuna fish, liver, eggs, cheese, orange juice, sardine, and more.
 

Lack of Vitamin D

Vitamin D is essential to the body in small amounts and therefore usually is not absence.
Nevertheless, people who don’t get any exposure to the sun or don’t eat any products who contain vitamin D may lack of vitamin D, which may cause problems with the bones structure and teeth.
