Heart Disease And vitamin E

Vitamin E is an antioxidant vitamin.
Its primary role in the control of heart diseases is to prevent fatty acids forming in the membranes. Vitamin E can limit LDL oxidation, which is the primary element that causes arterial blockage.
Vitamin E is abundant in vegetables, seed oils, and wheat germ. It can also be found in fruits, fish, and meats.

Vitamin C as a cure for Heart Disease

Vitamin C is another antioxidant that can prevent heart diseases.
It actually works with Vitamin E to increase cholesterol excretion.
If you suffer from heart disease, it wouldn't hurt to add citrus fruits in your diet, along with tomatoes, cabbage, strawberries, cantaloupe, and green leafy vegetables. Take as much as 1000 mg of Vitamin C along with 800 IU of Vitamin E for added body protection.

The food form of Vitamin A is beta-carotene. Like Vitamins C and E, Vitamin A also prevents LDL oxidation. Yellow-orange fruits and vegetable are the primary sources of Vitamin A. Carrots, sweet potatoes, and squash are examples of food rich in Beta Carotene.
