Treat Cold Sores with vitamins

Treat Cold Sores with vitamin C

High doses of Vitamin C can take care of your cold sores in a jiffy.
On the first sign of cold sore, take Vitamin C right away. If you do, the breakout won't continue. Vitamin C could inhibit the progression of the virus that causes cold sores. 1,000 milligrams of Vitamin C should give you a fighting chance against cold sores.
But be careful not to exceed the 1,200 milligrams dosage. Some people get diarrhea if that much amount of Vitamin C is taken.

Vitamin E for Cold Sores

Vitamin E works more as a topical treatment than an oral treatment.
To treat with Vitamin E, you can just break open a Vitamin E pill and collect the oil inside.
Apply the oil directly to the cold sore. That should provide relief to the blister and speed up its healing process.

Vitamin P for Cold Sores

Vitamin P is the old name for bioflavonoids.
Experts regard bioflavonoids as super vitamins. It is believed that it can help in a variety of health issues, and cold sores are one of them. Bioflavonoid combines with Vitamin C for a better fight against the cold sores-causing viruses.

These three vitamins are all you need to make cold sores history.
Take them regularly so you need not go through a week or so with cold sores on your lips.
